The intake of DHA (omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids) during breastfeeding contributes to the normal development of the brain and vision of your breastfed child. The beneficial effect of DHA is achieved by an additional daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
Femibion® 3 provides carefully selected substances, of which DHA in particular supports both of you during this period as a supplement to a varied diet. It also provides you with folate, vitamin A, iron, calcium, choline, lutein and some other substances. Iron helps reduce fatigue and calcium contributes to normal bone development.
